Hugh represents a broad spectrum of clients — from entrepreneurs and growing businesses to individuals seeking justice after injury or loss. His practice blends bold business counsel with principled advocacy, grounded in a belief that accountability creates a fairer, more ethical marketplace.
In his corporate and transactional work, Hugh advises clients on company formation, joint ventures, sales and acquisitions, intellectual property protection, and complex commercial arrangements. He has negotiated large contracts with Fortune 500 companies and handled cross-border transactions, always with an eye toward strategic growth and regulatory compliance. Raised in a family of small business owners, Hugh understands the realities entrepreneurs face and helps clients make confident, ethical decisions that protect what they’ve built.
In his litigation practice, Hugh represents individuals and workers whose rights have been violated or whose lives have been tragically altered. Drawing on his service as an Infantry Soldier in the California Army National Guard — where he serves in his battalion’s Scout Section and is Air Assault qualified — he brings the same discipline, resolve, and sense of duty to every case. Whether advocating for employees facing unlawful treatment or families impacted by serious injury or wrongful death, Hugh is guided by a commitment to fairness and results, holding individuals, businesses, and government entities accountable under the law.
Before law school, Hugh served as a Congressional staffer in Washington, D.C., gaining valuable experience in law, policy, and governance. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of California, Los Angeles, and his Juris Doctor from Boston College Law School.
