Hugh represents a diverse range of clients across various industries, including entrepreneurs, small and medium-sized businesses, and individuals in the social media sector. He advises clients on a wide array of operational matters, from company formations, joint ventures, sales and acquisitions, to intellectual property protection and complex commercial arrangements. In addition to managing and resolving business disputes, he has successfully negotiated large commercial contracts with Fortune 500 companies on behalf of his clients and handled numerous international transactions.
Raised in a family of small business owners, Hugh gained an early understanding of the unique challenges and needs of entrepreneurs, equipping him to align legal strategies effectively with clients’ business objectives. His background enables him to provide empathetic and practical counsel, ensuring clients’ interests are safeguarded while they focus on innovation and growth.
Inspired by his time in the military, Hugh dedicates a portion of his practice to personal injury law. Serving as an Infantry Soldier in the California Army National Guard, where he is part of his battalion’s Scout Section and is Air Assault qualified, he developed a profound appreciation for the value of life and understands how fleeting it can be. These experiences instilled in him a strong desire to advocate for individuals whose lives have been forever changed by injury or loss. Whether fighting for justice for those seriously injured or seeking accountability for lives cut short, Hugh approaches his work with compassion, dedication, and tenacity, striving to achieve the best possible outcomes for his clients.
Prior to his legal career, he served as a Congressional staffer for a member of Congress in Washington, D.C. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of California, Los Angeles, and earned his Juris Doctor from Boston College Law School.
